GINTOLOGY

Beliefs: Gin. Mainly Tanqueray and Beefeater … the highball priests and priestesses get to drink the Hendricks.

We believe that through the consumption of Gin, we will all achieve true enlightenment.

No Gin is a sin.

Rituals: The squeezing of the limes.

Gin bucket. (bucket of Gin and Fresca drank with turkey basters by a large group.)

Hangovers.

Major Holidays: ”Any day in which 2 or more people are gathered at a bar, table, park bench, and/or distillery with 2 glasses, ice cubes, and Gin.

July 25 - (A.K.A. Christmas in July) Celebratory Gin buckets and the cutting of the limes ritual in which everyone in attendance recites the sacred prayer.

“”Our Gin, which art in bottles, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home, as in tavern. Give us this day our icy spirit, and forgive us our spillages - as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not into incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. Amen.”
